Service Description
This course helps fifth graders strengthen essential math skills through movement, hands-on exploration, and real-world projects. It is designed for learners who benefit from active, multi-sensory instruction due to the blends of physical activity with creative problem-solving to make math accessible, meaningful, and engaging. Topics covered include operations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals, volume and measurement, graphing, and advanced problem-solving. Lessons incorporate interactive stations, outdoor math missions, collaborative building challenges, and project-based learning that brings math concepts to life. Projects may include designing 3D models to explore volume, creating fraction/decimal baking challenges, building geometry-based art, operating mini “business” simulations, and participating in movement-based fluency relays. Each activity is structured to deepen understanding while establishing stronger foundational skills. This supportive course is ideal for students who benefit from active, creative approaches to learning. Learners leave with increased skill fluency, improved problem-solving strategies, and a more confident math mindset.

Cancellations will be accepted 48 hours in advance, rescheduling to a later date will be accommodated twice.
